This role focuses on creating high-quality, on-brand creative aligned with CHIME and related brand identities. The Senior Specialist, Graphic Design develops design solutions that support marketing strategies and business goals, applying strong design judgment throughout the creative process. This individual must have a solid understanding of graphic and visual design principles, including layout, typography, and composition, and be able to translate project requirements into effective visual solutions. Our ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail-oriented designer with a passion for producing high-quality work. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders across teams. Duties and responsibilities Support the consistency and integrity of the brand's visual identity, ensuring adherence to logo usage, typography, color palettes, and visual standards across all materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design assets for marketing campaigns, events, programs, and a variety of promotional and informational materials. Maintain and contribute to CHIME's visual identity guidelines in partnership with the broader creative and marketing team. Maintain a cohesive library of brand-aligned assets, including photography, video, and graphic elements. Translate concepts and messaging into clear, visually compelling designs that effectively communicate intended outcomes. Apply advanced creative problem-solving and design thinking to deliver innovative and effective visual solutions. Participate in creative discussions with internal stakeholders to align on design direction and requirements. Prepare and present design concepts, ensuring all feedback is accurately interpreted and incorporated into final deliverables without omission or inconsistency. Create original, on-brand designs that align with campaign and organizational standards. Execute revisions and updates to creative assets with attention to detail and quality. Support compliance with copyright and trademark requirements as needed. Serve as a resource to team members by providing guidance on brand standards, templates, and best practices when appropriate. Influence creative decisions and outcomes across projects through design expertise. Support projects through the full design lifecycle, from concept development to final production. Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and related tools to efficiently produce high-quality deliverables. Ensure all design work aligns with established brand guidelines and quality standards including a high level of precision in detail and quality. Ensure clear understanding of project requirements, asking clarifying questions as needed to deliver accurate and fully aligned design solutions. Gather requirements, interpret design needs, and communicate ideas effectively with internal stakeholders. Translate marketing and organizational strategies into effective visual solutions that drive engagement and brand recognition. Contribute to the evolution of brand standards and creative approaches based on campaign needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required in Design, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience. 4 years of professional experience as a graphic or visual designer. Proven ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in design deliverables, including content, formatting, and brand application. Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders. Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment preferred. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects. Strong understanding of design fundamentals including typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy. Demonstrated experience creating visual assets across a variety of platforms, including print, digital, social media, presentations, events, and marketing campaigns. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong PowerPoint design skills.
