PRODUCTION DESIGNER - ONSITE MINNEAPOLIS - PART TIME
Contract type Freelance Location Minneapolis, Minnesota Specialty Other Remote No Reference 510125 Contact name Julie Mattson Job description Our Financial client is seeking a Freelance Production Artist to support the Asset Management marketing team during a temporary leave coverage assignment. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and creatively driven design professional who can produce and revise a wide range of print and digital collateral while balancing multiple priorities and meeting firm deadlines . The Production Artist will work within a collaborative marketing team and will be responsible for creating polished, brand-aligned materials that support business objectives and comply with regulatory guidance. Success in this role requires strong command of layout, typography, color, production methods, and brand standards, along with the ability to interpret stakeholder direction and translate it into high-quality finished deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and update marketing collateral for print and electronic distribution. Develop conceptual layouts using industry-standard graphics software. Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders across teams to meet project goals and timelines. Apply and uphold brand standards consistently across all materials. Source images and illustrations that support campaign and communication needs. Collaborate closely with teammates to ensure project continuity and timely completion. Follow established workflows and timelines to keep projects moving efficiently. Produce branded charts and data visualizations using graphics software and Excel as needed. Stay informed on current design trends and production techniques.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in graphic arts, including layout, photography, illustration, and design for digital and print. Strong knowledge of marketing and promotional material production processes. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Figma. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Strong understanding of visual design principles and high attention to detail. Ability to communicate technical concepts visually and effectively.
Work Location & Schedule:
