Graphic Designer/Supervisor

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic/Production Designer to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a full-time or part-time skilled Graphic/Production Designer with a passion for design and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating print & digital advertisements and designing creative layouts for newspaper print, niche publications and digital campaigns. This role requires proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Town News BLOX and/or Vision Data is helpful, but training will be provided for qualified applicants lacking experience in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and produce advertisements, ensuring they meet client specifications and deadlines. Create visually appealing and reader-friendly layouts for newspaper print. Collaborate with the editorial and sales teams to ensure design alignment with content and advertising goals. Prepare print & digital-ready files and ensure all designs meet quality and technical standards. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines. Stay up to date with industry trends and design best practices.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop is required. Verifiable experience in creating advertisements and designing layouts for print publications. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
