Graphic Artist

Job Summary We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Artist to join our custom apparel screen-printing team. In this customer-facing role, you will work directly with clients to prepare, refine, and finalize artwork for printed apparel, merchandise, and promotional products. The ideal candidate combines strong design skills with excellent communication and the ability to translate customer ideas into production-ready artwork. You will be responsible for creating and adjusting logos, preparing print files, ensuring artwork meets screen-printing requirements, and guiding customers through the design approval process. This role requires proficiency in vector design, an understanding of color separations and print techniques, and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a deadline-driven environment. Duties Work directly with customers to understand their branding, design needs, and creative vision Provide professional guidance and recommendations on artwork options, color choices, and print techniques Communicate clearly and promptly throughout the artwork approval process Translate customer concepts, sketches, or existing logos into polished, production-ready artwork Create original artwork, update existing logos, or clean up customer-provided files Convert raster artwork to vector files when needed Color separations Proper sizing and placement Halftones, spot colors, and underbase requirements Ensure all artwork meets technical specifications for print quality Collaborate with the production team to ensure artwork is optimized for screen printing and other decoration methods Manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Maintain organized artwork files and customer records Assist in proofing, mockups, and sample approvals Experience Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required) and Photoshop (preferred) Strong understanding of vector design and color theory Knowledge of screen printing processes, including color separations and print specifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to balance creativity with accuracy and technical precision Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Pay:

$18.00 - $26.39 per hour
