Compensation:

Supervisory Role Oral and written instructions are received from the Public Relations Director or designee. Duties & Responsibilities 1. Develops artwork for a broad range of printing projects including promotional literature, brochures, fliers, invitations, posters and banners. 2. Designs artwork for a variety of special projects including the college catalog and special reports. 3. Prepares camera-ready materials for print production utilizing both computer graphics and traditional paste-up formats. 4. Provides creative input in project layout and job specifications involving all phases of graphic art and design. 5. Coordinates the design and posting of printed materials for bulletin boards maintained by Public Relations. 6. Monitors/orders supplies and prepares monthly chargebacks for graphic services. 7. Performs other related duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Additional Requirements Minimum Qualifications Minimum Experience (number of years), Knowledge and/or Abilities 1. Bachelor's degree in art, graphic design or related field. 2. Demonstrated work experience in the graphics field with specific knowledge of all phases of layout and design and a working knowledge of computer graphics. 3. Ability to work under pressure to meet all deadlines. 4. Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills and the ability to work independently on projects. 5. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Minimum Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree Licenses and Certifications (including e.g., CPR, first aid, driver's license, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Experience (number of years), Knowledge and/or Abilities 1. Ongoing training in computer graphics to remain current with constantly evolving advancements in the field. 2. Ability to conceptualize key elements of graphic design and provide abstract proposals for clients. 3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
