Denver, Colorado | Corporate - DTC Position Objective The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling designs that promote our brand and products within the retail cannabis space. They will be responsible for developing innovative design solutions for various marketing materials, ensuring alignment with compliance, brand guidelines and objectives. Essential Functions Design Development (50%): Conceptualize and create visually appealing designs for in-store displays, packaging, digital ads, and social media graphics. Develop innovative design solutions that effectively communicate brand messaging and resonate with the target audience. Collaborate with the marketing team to translate marketing objectives into creative design concepts. Ensure all designs are of high quality, visually engaging, and align with brand guidelines. Brand Consistency (25%): Maintain consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all design projects. Create and maintain brand style guides to ensure uniformity in design elements. Review and approve all design materials to ensure they meet brand standards. Stay updated on design trends and best practices to continuously enhance the brand's visual identity. Collaboration (15%): Work closely with marketing and retail teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and concepts. Provide design support and guidance to internal teams to ensure brand consistency. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Project Management (10%): Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion. Create project timelines and ensure deadlines are met. Coordinate with external vendors, printers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of design materials. Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure they stay within approved limits. Please note that the percentage allocations are a general estimate and may vary based on business needs and priorities. Additional duties may be required as needed to support overall operations. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field. 3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design solutions and understanding of design principles. A Plus, but Not Required Experience in the cannabis industry or retail marketing. Knowledge of 3D rendering software. Experience with motion graphics and video editing. Understanding of HTML and CSS for web design. Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel) This role follows a hybrid schedule of up to two remote days and three on-site days. Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in the state of Colorado.
