Job Description

About the Role We're looking for a designer to join our dynamic creative team. This role is ideal for someone with strong visual fundamentals, solid production skills, and a collaborative mindset. This role supports a wide range of internal and client-facing work and will focus initially on campaign work, internal creative assets, and production-based deliverables. At The Woodshop, designers work within a collaborative agency environment where balancing workload, timelines, and client priorities is part of the rhythm of the work. We're looking for someone who can stay organized, adapt as needs shift, and contribute meaningfully across clients and projects. The right person is detail-oriented, collaborative, and excited to contribute to well-made work for a broad range of regional and national clients in a fast-paced, high energy agency environment. Who You'll Report To You'll report to the Creative Director and work closely with the broader creative and project management team across design and production needs. What You'll Do Design and produce creative assets for internal and client work across print, social, digital, and web Support the development of brand identities, style guides, packaging, and campaign materials Contribute to web and UX/UI design projects, including layout exploration and visual system development Create presentation materials, mockups, illustrations, and other project-based assets as needed Prepare polished, production-ready files for handoff across print and digital workflows Proof your own work before review, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail Maintain visual consistency across campaigns, platforms, and brand touchpoints Manage timelines and task progress within project management software Communicate early and often with team members around project updates, needs, and next steps What We're Looking For Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, craft, and range Proficiency in Adobe CC, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Working knowledge of digital design tools and workflows for web Strong typography, layout, and visual systems thinking Ability to work within established brand standards and help define them when needed Strong time management skills and comfort balancing multiple project speeds and priorities Experience using project management tools such as Asana and understanding of Google Workspace Collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a willingness to jump in where needed Experience with motion design or light animation Illustration skills that can support brand or campaign work Experience preparing files for print production and digital delivery What You Need To Apply Portfolio of design work Resume Cover letter is optional Work Environment + Benefits Full time role, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday Flexible schedule Option for partial remote work after 90 days 9 paid holidays Accrued sick time Starting at $18/hour
