Job Description

Position Summary The Manager - Label Graphics is responsible for coordinating and managing the packaging graphics approval process for branded and private label products. This role works closely with internal departments, external vendors, and regulatory partners to ensure packaging artwork is accurate, compliant, and completed within established timelines. The position also supports graphic editing, digital asset management, and print quality standards for all packaging materials. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Utilize online workflow software to manage the packaging design approval process for branded and private label products. Coordinate with all workflow participants to secure timely approvals and maintain project timelines. Use graphic design software, including Adobe Illustrator, to edit .ai files and generate .pdf files for packaging designs and revisions. Create 3D renderings of packaging items (cans, bags, cartons, etc.) with updated labels or artwork applied. Ensure packaging complies with FDA regulations and internal regulatory requirements with support from regulatory specialists. Collaborate with internal departments including Purchasing, Marketing, Operations, and R&D to gather and communicate packaging specifications and project requirements. Interface with external vendors including creative agencies, pre-press companies, label printers, and packaging suppliers. Maintain and organize digital asset files for active, archived, and pending projects to ensure accurate artwork is utilized for production printing. Work with packaging printers to establish print standards and ensure compliance with approved specifications. Review and audit invoices from pre-press companies for accuracy and billing compliance. Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by management. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in packaging graphics, label management, or graphic production preferred. Experience in food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, or printing industry strongly preferred. Required Skills and Abilities Language Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external partners. Mathematical Skills Ability to perform advanced calculations and apply formulas as needed. Reasoning Ability Ability to interpret and follow written, oral, diagrammatic, and scheduled instructions. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
