  • This position supports project teams by performing SmartPlant P&ID (SPID) design and layout work of moderate to complex scope. Working under established policies, procedures, and project guidelines, the Designer provides essential technical knowledge to produce high‑quality design deliverables. The role may also serve as a

  • , reviewing the work of other designers and supporting coordination across disciplines to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Apply project drawing standards to
  • SmartPlant P&ID
  • design drawings + Prepare
  • 2D CAD drawings
  • of moderate to advanced complexity + Create layouts and schematics for
  • conceptual and detailed designs
  • + Review and check design work completed by other Designers + Incorporate
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE)
  • considerations into all designs + Deliver quality work while meeting project schedules and requirements + Execute project tasks in accordance with approved work plans + Interface closely with other disciplines to support integrated design solutions + Adhere to industry codes, standards, and established design procedures + Contribute to continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and best practices + Plan, organize, and complete assignments as directed •Qualifications•Education & Experience•+ Associate degree (or global equivalent) in a technical field •OR•+ A combination of education and directly related experience totaling •10 years•+ Experience in industrial or engineering project environments preferred •Technical Skills•+ Hands‑on experience with •SmartPlant P&ID•+ Proficiency in •AutoCAD, BricsCAD•, and •Bluebeam•+ Strong understanding of P&ID development, layouts, and schematics + Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and design best practices + Knowledge of additional •Hexagon tools•is a plus •Professional Skills•+ Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities + Effective communication skills with designers, engineers, and project teams + Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment •Work Environment•+ •Contract position (open‑ended)•+ •100% onsite•— no remote or hybrid option + Collaborative, project‑driven engineering environment •Who Should Apply?
