Position Overview:

JayCo. Ink is seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Designer Intern to join our team at our McAllen location. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work on real projects, gain practical experience in graphic design, and contribute to a variety of design initiatives. As a Graphic Designer Intern, you will collaborate with our design team to create compelling visuals for print and digital media.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in creating designs for screen printing, embroidery, promotional products, and signage. Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts and finalize artwork for client projects. Work on branding materials, including logos, brochures, and digital assets. Prepare design files for production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. Participate in client meetings and presentations to understand project requirements. Stay updated with design trends and incorporate them into your work. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and time-management skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new design challenges.
