Our designers work on a variety of projects every day, ranging from small print items like vinyl decals and yard signs to large-scale projects like exterior signs and full office suites. This requires the ability to work with a variety of measurements and substrate limitations and the ability to create production notes for our team.

Responsibilities:

This position requires someone who can listen to a client's needs, cooperate on a design vision, and deliver a production-ready design to our production team. Our Graphic Designers use their expertise to review final designs and layouts. In finalizing the products, our artists may suggest improvements and modify formats to increase the quality of production and ensure that standards are met. Other technical duties may include scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning, and eliminating defective imaging.

Necessary Skills:

Knowledge of principles of design, including layout and composition, typography, color theory, balance, and current design trends Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop Knowledge of common print materials (vinyl, plastic, wood, etc) is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to positively interface with team members Ability to learn from and handle critiques Consistently apply and enforce style/brand guidelines Strong organization skills Time management and prioritization skills Ability to handle multiple projects at once while remaining calm and professional. Competent computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) A design portfolio that features examples of the following print products is a plus: Small format (decals) Large format (banners, posters, yard signs) Grand format (vehicle wraps, building graphics, event graphics) About Us For more than 20 years, Signarama Salt Lake has served the printing and advertising needs of the Salt Lake valley and beyond. We produce and install banners, flags, auto wraps, and floor & window graphics.
