Sr. Designer #2404 Pivotal Talent Search - 5.0 El Segundo, CA Job Details 18 hours ago Qualifications Artistic concept development Full Job Description We are one of the fastest growing toy and collectibles company, and we are looking to bring on a designer with strong design fundamentals and a detail-oriented approach. This role focuses on maintaining the visual consistency of brands while supporting production, development, and packaging execution. The designer must be comfortable managing technical artwork, communicating with factories, and ensuring that packaging and labels meet both creative and production requirements. To be successful in this position, you must be disciplined and self-motivated, provide excellent creative ideas in line with current trends, show significant attention to detail, and work well with a dynamic team. This role is based in El Segundo and is a hybrid position with three days onsite in the office.
NOTE:
Candidates that do not provide a portfolio, will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
Create and adapt international product labels, including regulatory, warning, multilingual, and factory-required label formats. Develop and maintain product and packaging label files with strong attention to accuracy, brand consistency, and production requirements. Support photography needs, including AI image generation, retouching, image cleanup, color correction, and product presentation assets. Prepare final packaging overviews and production-ready design packages for handoff to factories. Communicate directly with China-based factories regarding label placement, artwork updates, packaging details, revisions, and production questions. Create 3D renderings and product visuals using tools such as KeyShot, Blender, and ZBrush to support concept development, presentations, and packaging needs. Support the construction of packaging samples, mockups, prototypes, and presentation models. Work closely with product development, packaging, and production teams to ensure designs are accurate, manufacturable, and aligned with brand standards. Review proofs, samples, and factory submissions to identify design, layout, color, or labeling issues before final approval.
