The Trading Products team sits at the core of Robinhood's brokerage business, building products that support millions of customers in making financial decisions. Design on this team moves faster through AI—we explore directions with LLMs early, prototype with AI tooling in parallel, and ship polished systems. This lets us iterate quickly without sacrificing craft. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and brokerage leadership to create thoughtful, high-quality experiences that are grounded in user needs and measurable outcomes! As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead design for emerging products for active traders. You will take an AI-first approach to design incredible experiences, shape product direction, and present ideas to leadership. This role requires balancing strategic thinking with hands-on design execution while navigating ambiguity in a regulated environment. You will contribute to product direction, present ideas to leadership, and deliver experiences that help build trust in AI-driven financial tools! This role is based in our Bellevue, WA, Menlo Park, CA, and New York, NY office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. What you'll do Lead end-to-end design for trading products from early concepts through launch Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define product direction and user experience Use large language models to explore product ideas, clarify user needs, and outline initial approaches, helping your team align quickly on direction Create and iterate on prototypes using AI-assisted tools, shaping flows and interactions while partnering with engineers to bring the strongest concepts into production Translate complex financial and AI-driven concepts into clear, intuitive user interfaces Present design work to cross-functional partners and leadership, incorporating feedback into iterations Ensure designs meet quality standards, align with regulatory requirements, and support user trust What you bring You have experience designing consumer-facing digital products, ideally mobile-first experiences You actively use tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar LLMs as part of your design workflow You are comfortable experimenting with AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code), even if you are not writing production-level code You can take projects from ambiguous problem spaces to clear, executable design solutions You communicate design decisions effectively to cross-functional partners and leadership You have experience working in regulated environments or on financial products (preferred) What we offer Challenging, high-impact work to grow your career Performance driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching Best in class benefits to fuel your work, including 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents Lifestyle wallet

Base Pay Range:
Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC) $166,000- $195,000 USD Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL) $146,000
