Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Product Designer to support the development of innovative and trend-driven products across Hamee US brands. This role will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life from concept development to final production. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, attention to detail, and an interest in consumer products, cosmetics, and character-driven items. The ideal candidate specializes in DTC/consumer goods (as opposed to UX/UI) and must have a portfolio. Responsibilities:
Support product design and development from concept to production Create design proposals, mockups, and presentation materials Assist in developing product concepts aligned with brand direction and market trends Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to refine product specifications Prepare design files and production-ready artwork for vendors Review samples and provide feedback to ensure design quality and consistency Conduct market and trend research (consumer products, beauty, toys, etc.) Maintain organized design files, documents, and product information Support multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in product design, industrial design, or a related field Strong interest in consumer products, cosmetics, toys, or lifestyle goods Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) Basic understanding of product development and production processes Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment Business-level English communication skills (written and verbal) Portfolio of consumer product design
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of materials, packaging, or production processes Interest or experience in character/IP products
