Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Product Definition Engineer to support an Aerospace group in East Hartford, CT. This role will be supporting legacy and current programs, with a strong emphasis on modeling, drawing interpretation, and production definition.
Key Responsibilities include the following:
  • Create and revise models and drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
  • Interpret and apply GD&T standards (ASME Y14.5
  • 1998 to 2018).
  • Evaluate and correct incomplete or inaccurate legacy drawings by inspecting physical parts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product definition meets manufacturing and quality standards.
  • Serve as a Checker-level authority for production definition, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Teamcenter and Siemens NX.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) standards.
  • Experience in modeling components from legacy drawings and physical parts.
  • Ability to work independently and validate complex product definitions.
  • Experience working with incomplete or outdated drawings and reverse engineering.
  • Experience with Product Definition within DOD and Aerospace environments.
