Industrial Designer Arium Signs Orlando, FL Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Web design Spanish Graphic design Advertising design Game design Mobile app design Full Job Description About Us Arium Signs Manufacturing Corp. is a leading manufacturer of roadway, traffic control, and custom aluminum signs. We are looking for a detail-oriented Industrial Designer to join our production team and help transform engineering plans into high-quality manufactured signage. Position Summary The Industrial Designer will be responsible for designing production-ready sign layouts using FlexiSIGN, preparing print files, operating large-format printing equipment, laminating vinyl graphics, and ensuring all signs meet project specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities Design roadway, traffic control, and custom signage using FlexiSIGN. Prepare production-ready artwork from engineering plans and shop drawings. Verify sign dimensions, fonts, colors, symbols, and layouts according to project specifications. Operate large-format printers (HP Latex experience preferred). Laminate printed graphics and prepare them for application. Organize print queues to maximize material efficiency. Perform quality inspections before production and fabrication. Coordinate with the fabrication department to ensure production schedules are met. Maintain organized digital project files. Troubleshoot artwork and printing issues when necessary. Assist with creating shop drawings and production documentation. Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace. Qualifications Experience using FlexiSIGN is required. Experience with large-format printing and vinyl production. Experience operating HP Latex printers is preferred. Understanding of print setup, color management, scaling, and paneling. Ability to read construction plans and technical drawings. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while meeting production deadlines. Manufacturing or sign industry experience is preferred. Preferred Experience FDOT roadway sign production. MUTCD sign layouts. Reflective sheeting (3M Diamond Grade, High Intensity, Engineer Grade). Vinyl lamination and application to aluminum panels. CNC routing file preparation.
