job summary: Sr. Design Engineer with Automotive powertrain expertise needed for immediate direct hire role in the Augusta, GA area! This is a high priority role seeking a seasoned subject matter expert within automotive powertrain subsystems. Requirements for this role are a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 5+ years of related experience working with design requirements, risk analysis, DFMEA, DVP&R as well as having a solid understanding of designing to regulatory product standards and Problem-solving techniques such as 8D, 9- step, etc... You'll work on both traditional gas engines and electric vehicle tech.
