Augusta, Georgia job type: Permanent salary: $130,000 - 145,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Represent Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) on cross functional new product development teamsLead VA / VE projects from concept to launch, overseeing design, analysis, documentation, and product release. Lead efforts to improve the financial impact of engineering activities on the business with focus on design feasibilityLead technical and project reviews for assigned projects with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Drive technical ownership and collaboration in requirements management, risk analysis, DFMEA, DVP&R, and engineering change notices for assigned projects Requirements Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, 10 years of related experience and be a subject matter expert (SME) in Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives relating to mechanical vehicle or system architectureProject Management/leadership skills with expertise with proficiency identifying project risksMust be self-motivated, a proven collaborator, able to think creatively, work with others to find solutions, drive execution, and focus on resultsUnderstanding of vehicle systems such as powertrains, suspensions, chassis, plastics, as well as APQP tools such as requirements definition, DFMEA, DVP&R, control plans, etc.
