Job Description

We are looking for a functional safety Engineer for our client in Detroit Area.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS BS/MS

in Electrical, Systems, or Automotive Engineering 5+ years automotive functional safety experience Hands-on HARA, FSC, TSC, FSR, TSR, and SSR authoring Proficiency in Ansys Medini Analyze (safety lifecycle mgmt) Solid

ISO 26262

Parts 3, 4, 8, 9 working knowledge Experience with SOTIF (ISO 21448) for ADAS features In-vehicle protocol knowledge: CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet Multi-domain exposure: Powertrain or ADAS or Body

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ISO 26262 FSE

Certification (TÜV Rheinland / TÜV SÜD) ePowertrain / BEV / HEV safety architecture experience ADAS Level 2+ safety concept development (ISO 21448) Experience with UDS, DoIP, AUTOSAR safety mechanisms Requirements tools:

IBM DOORS, JAMA

Connect, Polarion

FMEDA / FTA

experience at system and HW level Knowledge of IEC 61508 or aerospace safety (ARP4754A) OEM or Tier-1 supplier safety governance experience
