Job Description

Design products to meet customer structural, packaging and performance requirements. Develop and maintain timing of engineering tasks to support program milestones. Support definition of test validation methodology to ensure conformance of customer specifications. Develop DFMEA, tolerance stacks and coordinating computational analysis of components. Responsible for completing engineering tasks such as DFMEA, 2D, 3D, DFM, tolerance stacks, computational analysis of components. Interact with product engineers and customers to assure products perform appropriately in vehicle specifications. Participate in cross functional teams throughout the product development cycle. Review finite element analysis of components and assemblies. Performing failure analysis and problem resolutions, drawing conclusions from analysis performed and writing formal reports. Interacting with product engineering staff to propose, evaluate and recommend necessary design changes or other solutions. Travel occasionally to manufacturing sites as required.
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Foreign academic equivalence acceptable
Experience:
Six months experience in the job offered, Lead Engineer or related position.
Required Skills:
Experience with
UNIGRAPHICS
