UV LED Product Development Intern, hrs per week

Job description Clearstone Technologies is seeking a motivated and hands-on Product Development Intern to support the design and development of advanced UV LED equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or early-career engineer interested in mechanical design, manufacturing, optics, and emerging LED technologies. Responsibilities Assist in the mechanical design and development of UV LED equipment Create and modify CAD models for sheet metal and machined components using Fusion 360 Prepare technical drawings, manufacturing documentation, and specifications Support prototyping and product development activities Collaborate with engineering staff on thermal, optical, and mechanical design challenges Qualifications Experience using Autodesk Fusion 360 Familiarity with sheet metal enclosure design Exposure to thermal and optical modeling concepts Hands-on experience with prototyping and fabrication techniques, including: Laser cutting 3D printing Basic machine tools Interest in product development, manufacturing, or applied engineering Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Compensation $15-$19 per hour, depending on experience About Clearstone TechnologiesClearstone Technologies develops effective, economical, and easy-to-use UV LED light sources for industrial and commercial applications.
