Job Description

Our client, a contemporary women's RTW brand, is seeking an Associate Designer to join their tight-knit team in NYC! ‍
Responsibilities:
‍ Assist the design team by creating sketches, CADs, and preparing detailed tech packs, including BOMs Produce both hand-drawn and Illustrator-based sketches, incorporating complex prints into garment templates Prepare detailed prototype documents, outlining specifications, construction details, and garment features for seasonal collections Build and maintain vendor relationships while sourcing materials, trims, and accessories Keep organized records of fabric swatches, lab dips, trims, and approval logs for every season Contribute to the development of design presentations, including boards, color palettes, and seasonal overviews Develop and update linesheets for print groups and garment styles for internal and external reference Act as a bridge between design, technical teams, production, and marketing to streamline workflows and ensure alignment Manage sample logistics, including tracking, organization, and preparation for photoshoots in collaboration with the Marketing team ‍
Qualifications:
2-4+ years of hands-on experience in design, specifically focused on wovens and knitwear Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel Thorough understanding of garment construction and foundational techniques Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Highly driven and detail-oriented, with a passion for delivering high-quality, creative designs ‍
Salary:
