Who We're Looking For:
The Technical Designer II supports fit and construction from initial concept through commercialization. This role ensures on-time development and delivery aligned with critical timelines, product specifications, sustainability, performance, and profitability goals. This individual will: Assist in coordinating fit sessions, documenting feedback, and supporting the Technical Design team in completing tech packs for global product creation teams. Manage a small portfolio of styles with low to mid-level complexity. Track and facilitate prototyping for assigned styles. Apply foundational knowledge of patterns, garment construction, and graphic execution. Communicate fit comments clearly through written and verbal channels. Identify and communicate basic fit issues and understand graded nesting/marker concepts. Proactively seek opportunities for growth through training, mentorship, and special projects. The Technical Designer II stays informed on market trends, emerging technologies, consumer needs, and team objectives to ensure all projects align with organizational standards and product creation goals. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, Textile Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of technical design experience in the apparel industry. Knowledge of the full apparel development lifecycle, including: Ability to interpret design intent and translate it into technical execution. Experience writing product specifications and construction instructions.
Proficiency in:
Adobe Illustrator CAD pattern design software (e.g., Optitex) 3D design software (e.g., CLO, Browzwear) preferred Microsoft Office Suite In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
