Job Description

Hiring:
Design / Product Engineer We are looking for a Design / Product Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) to join our team in California, offering onsite and hybrid work options. This contract position is ideal for candidates with 5-8 years of experience in mechanical design and validation, particularly in the medical equipment sector.
Key Responsibilities include:
Interpreting and analyzing mechanical blueprints and technical drawings Designing and developing mechanical components and systems for medical equipment Creating detailed 2D/3D designs and blueprints using CAD tools Performing validation and testing of designs to ensure compliance with industry standards Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R D, manufacturing, and quality Supporting the product development lifecycle from concept through production Ensuring designs meet regulatory and quality requirements, preferably in the medical domain
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in mechanical design and validation engineering Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints Hands-on experience in designing and drafting Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD Experience working with medical equipment/devices is highly preferred Good understanding of engineering principles and the product design lifecycle Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Nice to
Have:
Experience with validation protocols and documentation Knowledge of regulatory standards in the medical device industry
