$32.50/hr OT Required / Expected? No WB Games Resource(s)? No CNN Resource(s)? No What We Do/Project This designer manages the following categories: Hosiery, Vision, Sleepwear. They will review and manage all product submissions, evaluating them for product, brand, and character integrity - following all required Brand Assurance and Franchise guidelines. This includes creative strategy and kick off, ideation with partners, internal alignment, and Star labs PD process. In addition, the designer must be able to work on multiple Creative and Product Development functions, including product design, graphic design, typography, trend research, pitches, and presentations, as well as creative tools to support licensees in their development. Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
  • Support the Category teams with business strategies, brainstorm creative art direction.
  • Correspondence with partners via email.
  • Weekly 1:1 with manager along with multiple meetings with team throughout the week.
  • Support BA teams with review and approval of submissions on Star Labs and organizing/sorting physical samples
  • Reviewing approvals on submissions.
  • Additional duties as needed.
Must Have Skills / Requirements 1) Proficient Illustrator a. 3+ years; Adobe Creative Suite experience (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign); Experience with sketching and illustrating (good design aesthetic and knowledge). 2) Passion for WBD IP and Product Design experience a. 3+ years; This role will require a lot of ideation for creative direction and will require an individual with knowledge of WBD IP to better advise on bringing products to our fans. Experience with Fashion products is a big plus. 3) Strong interpersonal skills a. 3+ years; Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners of all levels (executives to colleagues). This role requires excellent communication skills. Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements 1) Experience with Fashion products is a big plus. 2) Passion for Wizarding World (Harry Potter).

Technology Requirements:
1) Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Illustrator, Photoshop and In Design) 2) Strong knowledge of Mac applications such as Keynote as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Education / Certifications 1) BA or BS in Fine Arts or Design preferred, or 2 years Technical College in a design discipline or equivalent experience required Interview Process / Next Steps 1) 1st round interview with Hiring Manager (Senior Design Manager) 2) Potential 2nd round interview Sr. Creative Director Additional Notes
