This role is fully remote with up to 20% travel to Alameda, CA. Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Product Designer with strong motion expertise to craft thoughtful, engaging, and highly polished product experiences. This role blends product strategy, interaction design, and motion design to create end to end experiences that feel intuitive, fluid, and expressive. You will work holistically across the product lifecycle while paying close attention to the details that bring clarity, usability, and delight through purposeful motion. Top Must Have Skills Advanced proficiency in product design, motion design, and prototyping tools such as Figma, After Effects, or similar Strong expertise in interaction design, motion principles, and usability best practices Proven experience designing end to end product experiences, beyond visual UI or marketing animation Ability to collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ship motion rich experiences Experience contributing to and maintaining scalable design systems, including motion standards Additional Qualifications 5 or more years of professional experience in product, interaction, or motion design Bachelors degree in Design, Interaction Design, Motion Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Hybrid background combining product design and motion design for complex digital products Experience blending product strategy with detailed interaction and animation craftsmanship Familiarity designing systems that scale across multiple platforms or products Comfort working remotely with up to 20 percent travel to Alameda, CA Responsibilities Design motion systems and interaction patterns that enhance usability and guide user behavior Create micro interactions, transitions, animations, and feedback states that communicate purpose and clarity Develop interactive and motion prototypes to explore, demonstrate, and refine product behavior Lead product design efforts across major initiatives, from discovery through launch and iteration Translate user needs and product insights into clear, meaningful, and elegant solutions Create wireframes, interaction models, prototypes, and high fidelity designs Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers throughout the design lifecycle Collaborate with engineering to ensure motion behaviors are implemented accurately and accessibly Define and scale motion principles, guidelines, and interaction standards across the product ecosystem Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency in visual, interaction, and motion design Produce demos, prototypes, and storytelling artifacts that communicate product vision and design intent In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data.
