We're looking for a Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Design Professional in Albany, NY who can step in and contribute immediately. In this role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary design and engineering teams to lead the development of complex industrial HVAC and Process Exhaust systems for advanced facilities. As a Sr. Mechanical Design Professional, you will: Lead design, layout, and routing of industrial building mechanical systems Develop P&IDs, plans, sections, and construction details Perform design tasks across planning, concept, and detailed design Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and internal disciplines Apply expert knowledge of building mechanical systems and codes to ensure quality and accuracy This role is ideal for an experienced designer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can operate with a high degree of independence, technical judgment, and initiative. Here's what you'll need High school diploma or GED At least 15 years of AutoCAD design experience At least 10 years of Revit design experience At least 10 years of industrial building mechanical design experience Strong working knowledge of U.S. mechanical codes, specifically the International Mechanical Code (IMC) Demonstrated ability to independently execute design packages with minimal supervision This position is for the Latham/Albany, NY Office Up to 20% travel to job sites When not traveling, minimum 2 days per week's attendance in the office is required Ideally, you will have: Experience in complex industrial environments, such as semiconductor manufacturing, cleanrooms, data centers or other advanced manufacturing facilities Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams Technical or Associate's degree in a relevant discipline Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Advanced problem‑solving, planning, and analytical skills

Ability to perform on‑site field observations, which may include activities, such as climbing ladders, accessing areas beneath raised floors, and walking or standing for extended periods. And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $123,600.00 to $165,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
