Job Description

Stream-Flo is one of the largest privately held companies providing wellheads, gate valves, check valves, and surface safety systems for the worldwide oil and gas industry. Key position functions include:
Apply knowledge of wellhead industry to design, develop, and maintain wellhead product lines. Create design files, engineering documentation, and conduct technical calculations. Support manufacturing, field service, and quality teams. Resolve material issues, manage warranty claims, and support custom engineering (non-conformance investigation reports). Implement production procedures across machining, testing, and assembly. Provide technical leadership, review and approve engineering work, and ensure safety compliance. Serve as final authority on product design, including complex components. Frequency of travel 3-4 weeks, or 5-10% per year. Geographic locations(s)- within state of Texas, Anchorage (AK) The preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related, or foreign equivalent. 2 years of experience in the job offered, or Design Engineer. 2 or more years of progressive Product Design Experience. 2 years of experience with the following (which may have been gained concurrently): 3D Modeling and drafting in
PTC CREO
Parametric, or Solidworks, or AutoCad 3D, or Fusion 360. Using ANSI, ASME, and ISO drafting techniques and geometric dimensioning and tolerance. Designing, developing, and testing oil, gas, and geothermal wellheads, injection trees, and production trees, applying API, ASME, and SFI engineering standards. Computer literate- proficiency with Microsoft applications. Mechanical aptitude- understand the design and function of wellhead equipment. Highly self-motivated and well organized.
