Job Description

Seeking an experienced Design Engineer with strong Siemens NX (UGNX/Unigraphics) expertise to support the design and packaging of modular gas turbine power generation units. The ideal candidate will have experience designing weldments, structural assemblies, and integrated systems while providing technical leadership and guidance to design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and package modular gas turbine power generation units using Siemens NX (UGNX). Develop structural designs utilizing sheet metal, tubing, beams, and welded assemblies. Integrate pneumatic and fluid systems into equipment layouts and packaging designs. Lead design efforts, establish design strategies, and guide designers through project execution. Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
Required Qualifications:
Extensive experience with Siemens NX (UGNX/Unigraphics). Experience designing power generation equipment, preferably gas turbine-based systems. Strong background in weldments, structural steel, sheet metal, tubing, and beam design. Familiarity with pneumatic and fluid system integration. Proven ability to lead design activities and mentor designers.
Preferred Background:
Experience with companies such as Rolls-Royce, GE, Siemens Energy, Pratt & Whitney, Solar Turbines, Dresser-Rand, MAN Turbo, or similar turbomachinery/power generation organizations. #
GRPA Pay:
$45.00 - $50.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
