Job Description

Mechanical Drafting Designer / Drafter - Food Processing Equipment & Conveyors Project Services Group is seeking a Onsite Mechanical Designer / Drafter with extensive Detail experience to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of Food Processing, Packaging & Conveyance Machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiencies. This is a challenging role with a significant impact in being sure projects are completed on schedule.
Responsibilities of Mechanical Drafting Designer :
Efficiently Design and Detail Drawings 2 D CAD design of conveyors, food processing machinery, material handling, processing, and packaging equipment Ability to develop scope of work for a new project Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical devices and machines Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams
Manage Projects Requirements Mechanical Drafting Designer :
Highly proficient with AutoDesk Inventor and or CAD Mechanical (5+ years) Experience with Mechanical Design & Drafting Experience with Packaging & Conveyance Machinery diagrams (food industry a plus Engineering Degree a plus Deadline and detail-oriented
Compensation:
