Job Description:
Earth and Images is seeking a talented and highly organized Junior Interior Designer to join our growing luxury residential design studio. We are looking for someone with strong visual instincts, a refined eye for interiors, and a passion for creating thoughtful, layered spaces that feel elevated, timeless, and deeply personal. This role is ideal for an emerging designer who is eager to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and gain hands-on experience across all phases of high-end residential design.
Responsibilities:
Assist the lead designers with residential interior design projects from concept through installation Create and update CAD drawings, floor plans, elevations, and presentation materials Source furniture, lighting, textiles, finishes, plumbing, and accessories Prepare design boards, client presentations, and specification packages Support procurement, tracking, and vendor coordination Maintain project organization, schedules, and design libraries Attend site visits, installations, and client meetings as needed Assist with styling and final project installations Collaborate closely with the design team while maintaining strong attention to detail
Qualifications:
Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred 1-3 years of interior design experience preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD required Experience with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Studio Designer, or Canva is a plus Strong understanding of scale, proportion, color, and materiality Highly organized with excellent communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn Passion for luxury residential interiors and elevated design details
