Arcadia, CA] - Immediate opening Our Arcadia-based real-estate development firm is growing our in-house Architectural and Interior Design Department! And we are seeking a talented and highly creative Interior Designer to join our team, with a strong focus on hospitality, lifestyle, and brand-driven environments. The ideal Junior Interior Designer candidate is a design-forward thinker with exceptional rendering and presentation skills, capable of developing compelling creative directions and presenting design concepts confidently to ownership groups, developers, and major hospitality brands. An architectural background or experience working closely with architectural teams is a strong plus. Junior Interior Designer Key Responsibilities Develop creative interior design concepts for hospitality projects, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, lounges, and branded guest experiences. Create strong visual presentations that clearly communicate design intent, atmosphere, materiality, and overall project direction. Produce high-quality renderings, mood boards, material palettes, FF&E concepts, and design packages for client and brand review. Present project concepts and design narratives to ownership, executives, developers, and major hospitality brand representatives. Collaborate with architects, consultants, vendors, and internal team members throughout all phases of design. Support space planning, finish selection, furniture selection, lighting concepts, and overall design documentation. Translate brand standards, ownership goals, and project positioning into thoughtful and distinctive design solutions. Maintain a strong awareness of current trends in hospitality, luxury design, lifestyle branding, materials, furniture, and experiential environments. Qualifications Certificate from college or technical school in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design field. Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design direction, hospitality experience, rendering ability, and presentation skills. Architectural background or architectural design experience is highly preferred. Proficiency in design and rendering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms. Ability to create polished presentation decks for high-level client, ownership, and brand meetings. Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence in presenting design concepts. Strong understanding of materials, finishes, FF&E, lighting, spatial planning, and hospitality design standards. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute creatively in a fast-paced design environment.
