Junior Kitchen & Bath Design AssociateAbout MTD Kitchen MTD Kitchen has been designing and remodeling kitchens and baths across Southern California since 2008. We specialize in high-quality custom and semi-custom cabinetry, materials, design services, and showroom-based kitchen solutions. As MTD Kitchen continues to evolve, we are expanding our showroom experience to help homeowners, contractors, and trade partners select cabinetry, finishes, countertops, hardware, accessories, and other kitchen design materials. We are looking for a motivated Junior Kitchen & Bath Design Associate who loves design, enjoys helping people, and wants to grow in the kitchen and bath industry. New graduates are welcome to apply. What You'll Do
- Meet with clients, contractors, and showroom visitors to understand their kitchen and bath design goals.
- Help clients review cabinet styles, finishes, countertops, drawer systems, hardware, accessories, and other material selections.
- Assist with basic kitchen and bath layouts using Cabinet Vision, design software.
- Prepare design concepts, product selections, basic estimates, and customer notes.
- Follow up with leads and showroom visitors in a professional and timely manner.
- Work with the MTD team to ensure customer selections and cabinet orders are clear and accurate.
- Maintain an organized and professional showroom experience. What We're Looking For
- Interest or experience in kitchen and bath design, interior design, cabinetry, home improvement, architecture, or construction.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Design software experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate. The ability to learn new systems and technology is required.
- Strong presentation, communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn product lines, materials, finishes, and showroom systems
- A positive, professional attitude with strong attention to detail. What We Offer
- $23 to $30 per hour, depending on experience, relevant knowledge, design software skills, customer-facing ability, and overall qualifications. New graduates are welcome to apply.
