Interior Design Assistant Interiors by Kay Boca Raton, FL Job Details Part-time $15 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Interior design project assistant experience Web design Interior design Graphic design Advertising design Full Job Description Interiors by Kay is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Interior Design / Personal Assistant to support both the day-to-day operations of our luxury residential design studio and the personal scheduling needs of the principal designer. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, wears many hats with confidence, and genuinely enjoys helping bring order and structure to a growing business. The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, discreet, and able to anticipate needs before they arise. You will play an integral role in supporting the creative process, managing moving parts behind the scenes, and helping keep projects, schedules, and operations running smoothly. ResponsibilitiesInterior Design Support Assist with sourcing furniture, lighting, plumbing, hardware, materials, and finishes Organize samples, vendor communications, pricing, and specifications Support procurement tasks including order tracking, delivery coordination, and issue resolution Assist with presentations, mood boards, client deliverables, and design documentation Attend site visits, installations, and project meetings as needed Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and trades Maintain project organization through spreadsheets, task management systems, and calendars Help prepare for photoshoots, installs, and client meetings Support social media content capture and behind-the-scenes studio tasks as needed Personal Assistant Responsibilities Manage calendar scheduling, appointments, and reminders Assist with travel coordination, reservations, and itinerary planning Help prioritize tasks and manage daily workflow Coordinate errands, returns, shipments, and miscellaneous personal tasks Assist with inbox organization and follow-up communications Support household and family logistics when needed Help create systems and organization within both business and personal operations Qualifications Previous experience in interior design, executive assistance, or administrative support preferred Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment Proficiency in Google Workspace, Canva, and organizational software Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump in wherever needed Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Who You Are Extremely organized and naturally proactive Calm under pressure and solution-oriented Creative, but equally operationally minded Someone who notices the little things Humble, hungry, hardworking, and trustworthy Excited to grow alongside a boutique luxury design firm To Apply Please send your resume, portfolio (if applicable), and a brief introduction about yourself to
