We specialize in luxury kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home renovations, delivering an experience built around craftsmanship, communication, transparency, and hospitality. We are seeking an experienced Senior Design & Remodeling Consultant to join our growing team. This unique role combines interior design, CAD drafting, 3D rendering, client consultation, and sales. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable creating beautiful designs, presenting concepts to homeowners, and helping clients confidently move forward with significant remodeling investments. This is not a traditional interior designer position. We are looking for a professional who can guide clients from the initial consultation through design development and ultimately into a signed remodeling agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Consultation Conduct in-home and showroom consultations with prospective clients. Understand homeowner goals, lifestyle needs, design preferences, and budget expectations. Build trust and rapport with homeowners throughout the sales process. Lead discovery meetings, design consultations, and proposal presentations. Assist clients in understanding project scope, investment ranges, and design opportunities. Follow up with prospects and help convert opportunities into signed projects. Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to ensure project feasibility and budget alignment. Maintain detailed records of client communications and project development. Interior Design Develop creative and functional design concepts for kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home remodels. Create finish palettes, mood boards, and material selection packages. Guide clients through cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, paint colors, and other finish selections. Ensure designs align with client goals, budgets, and construction requirements. Stay current on luxury design trends, materials, and products. Coordinate with architects, engineers, vendors, and trade partners when necessary. CAD Drafting & 3D Visualization Create accurate floor plans, space plans, and remodeling layouts. Produce detailed CAD drawings for residential remodeling projects. Develop cabinetry layouts, elevations, and design details. Create professional-quality 3D renderings and visual presentations. Prepare presentation packages that clearly communicate design intent. Verify field measurements and existing conditions for design accuracy. Coordinate design documents with estimating, production, and construction teams. Maintain organized project documentation throughout the design phase. Client Experience Deliver a hospitality-driven, white-glove experience throughout the client journey. Maintain proactive communication and responsiveness. Educate homeowners on the remodeling process and design decisions. Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for the client. Help clients feel confident, informed, and excited throughout the design and sales process. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of interior design experience. Minimum 3 years of residential remodeling experience. Proven experience conducting client consultations and design presentations. Strong understanding of residential construction and remodeling practices. Experience creating floor plans, space plans, and cabinetry layouts. Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit, or similar platforms. Experience producing professional 3D renderings and visual presentations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to confidently discuss remodeling investments ranging from $50,000 to $500,000+. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Experience working within a design-build remodeling environment. NKBA, ASID, or other industry certifications. Experience working with affluent or luxury residential clients. Knowledge of Florida residential construction practices and building codes. Experience with Chief Architect, SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, or similar software. Experience preparing permit-ready design drawings. Desired Traits We are looking for someone who: Naturally connects with people and builds trust. Has exceptional design taste and creativity. Possesses strong technical drafting and visualization skills. Is confident discussing significant financial investments. Is highly organized and detail-oriented. Thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Values craftsmanship, professionalism, transparency, and accountability. Enjoys both design and sales. Wants to grow with a company that is building something special. Why Join Us? We intentionally work with a select number of clients at a time to ensure every project receives the attention it deserves. We are committed to delivering a remodeling experience that is different from the industry standard—one built on communication, hospitality, and doing things right the first time. You'll have the opportunity to work on some of Central Florida's most exciting remodeling projects while helping shape the future of a rapidly growing design-build firm.
