Georgia , Rome Job Description About the Opportunity A rapidly growing design and engineering firm in Georgia is seeking a talented Interior Designer to expand its in-house interior design capabilities. With demand increasing, the firm is bringing design services fully in-house—creating a unique opportunity to build, lead, and shape an entire design function from the ground up. This is more than just a design role—it's a chance to take ownership, influence company direction, and grow into a future leadership or partnership position. What You'll Do Help the development and establishment of the in-house interior design division Design and manage commercial interior projects from concept through completion Collaborate with architects, engineers, and leadership to deliver cohesive, high-quality spaces Oversee space planning, material selection, finishes, and client presentations Build and mentor a growing team of designers Contribute to business development and strategic growth initiatives What We're Looking For 2 years + of professional interior design experience Strong background in commercial interiors (office, retail, hospitality, or mixed-use) Proficiency in design software (Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) Passion for building and growing a design program NCIDQ certification or eligibility preferred but not necessary Why Join Us?
