In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior designers and project managers to bring innovative interior spaces to life. Your enthusiasm for design, combined with technical expertise and project management skills, will help ensure seamless execution of projects from concept to completion. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, inspiring environment where creativity and precision go hand in hand. Responsibilities Assist in developing interior design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Revit, and SketchUp. Prepare detailed drawings and plans utilizing AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, and Drafting techniques to communicate design ideas clearly. Support project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with vendors or contractors to ensure timely project delivery. Conduct site visits for renovation, remodeling, or construction projects to monitor progress and ensure design specifications are met. Collaborate on lighting design and lighting sales efforts by creating visualizations and specifications that enhance the overall aesthetic. Assist in selecting color schemes based on color theory principles and interior design best practices. Contribute to contract preparation, documentation, and review processes to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards. Skills Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds ), Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting, rendering, and presentation purposes. Strong understanding of interior design principles including space planning, color theory, lighting design, and remodeling techniques. Experience with project management tools and processes such as scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination. Knowledge of construction processes, renovation procedures, contracts management, and lighting sales strategies. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, contractors, and team members effectively. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
