Job Description

Overview We are seeking a creative, organized, and client-focused Part-Time Interior Design Associate to support our interior design team across all phases of residential and retail design projects. This role assists with conceptual design, project coordination, client communication, and execution, ensuring each project is delivered with care, creativity, and attention to detail—from initial concept through installation. This position is ideal for someone passionate about interiors who thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment and enjoys balancing creative work with project management. Responsibilities Assist with space planning, furniture selection, finish and material specification, and overall conceptual design Create and edit design presentations, floor plans, and 3D visuals using appropriate design software Coordinate project logistics, including timelines, vendor orders, deliveries, and installation scheduling Serve as a client-facing representative by attending client meetings, presenting design options, and responding to inquiries professionally and promptly Collaborate with management to prepare quotes, invoices, and maintain accurate project documentation Maintain strong product knowledge of in-store inventory and vendor lines; assist with showroom styling and merchandising as needed Track project progress to ensure quality standards, budgets, and deadlines are met Support day-to-day studio operations and contribute to a seamless, elevated client experience Qualifications Working knowledge of design and presentation software, including SketchUp or similar 3D modeling programs, with strong visual and presentation skills Excellent organizational, project management, and time management abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident and polished in client-facing roles Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask effectively in a small, collaborative team environment Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor relations, and installation coordination Passion for interior design, home furnishings, and décor Degree or certificate in Interior Design or a related field preferred, but not required
