We are seeking a talented Residential Interior Designer / Project Manager to join our team. This individual will play a key role in managing residential projects from concept through completion, working closely with clients, contractors, architects, and vendors to bring exceptional spaces to life. The ideal candidate has strong residential design experience, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of the design and construction process. They are confident managing multiple project components simultaneously, communicating effectively with clients and project partners, and taking ownership of their work to ensure successful project outcomes. Responsibilities Lead design projects from conception to completion, including conceptualization, space planning, material selection, and presentation of design concepts to clients. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and vision for their space, translating those goals into innovative and functional design solutions. Develop detailed drawings, specifications, and project documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent. Research and source materials, furnishings, finishes, and accessories that align with the design concept, project requirements, and budget. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders to obtain pricing, samples, product information, and project updates. Manage procurement, order tracking, and project logistics to support timely project completion. Oversee project execution, including site visits, installations, punch lists, and quality control to ensure design concepts are implemented accurately. Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, timelines, and client communication throughout the project lifecycle. Support and collaborate with team members while contributing to a positive and professional office culture. Stay informed on industry trends, new products, materials, and technologies to continuously enhance design capabilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field. 3+ years of residential interior design experience preferred. Experience with renovations, additions, and/or new construction projects strongly preferred. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Strong creative and conceptual skills with the ability to translate client requirements into compelling design solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
