Interior Design Interior Designer Twin Cities West Metro, MN | Direct Hire | $80,000 - $100,000 | On-Site Konik is partnering with a residential design-build firm seeking to add an Interior Designer to their team. Focusing on residential remodeling projects, this position offers the opportunity to work directly with homeowners, contribute to design concepts, and support projects from initial planning through construction. The ideal candidate will have some design experience with residential remodeling projects, and be interested in honing their design and client-facing skills within a team-oriented setting.Responsibilities:
Support the design process from initial client consultation through constructionpletion Develop space planning layouts, interior architectural drawings, and design concepts for residential remodeling projects Conduct field measurements and create as-built and permit drawings Prepare scopes of work, selections, and product specifications for project execution Collaborate with project managers and leadership to ensure alignment on design intent and constructability Participate in client meetings, presenting design options and guiding finish selections Coordinate material selections and manage product ordering throughout the project lifecycleQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field 3+ years of experience in residential design (remodeling) Proficiency in design software (Chief Architect preferred or similar platforms) Strong understanding of space planning and interior architectural detailing Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in various phases Strongmunication and presentation skills with a client-focused approach Organized, detail-oriented, andfortable working in a collaborative team settingBenefits:
