Job Description
True Design, LLC is a residential design company dedicated to providing design solutions uniquely suited to each client. We design spaces that are TRUE to our client's aesthetic, budget, and the function of their space. When we work with a client, we work as their team. We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Design Assistant to join our team and help with project organization and administration for small- and large-scale projects. Responsibilities With direction from the Lead Designer, draft floor plans, select furnishings, finishes, and fabrics, and attend in-home client meetings Order products and coordinate shipping with vendors Prepare, regularly update, and finalize client notebooks Help upkeep sample library Assist in vendor organization and supporting documentation Contribute to developing organizational strategies for the team Help update sales list and facilitate new client onboarding Document job and create teaching documents as needed Create content for social media and help develop marketing materials (e.g., Houzz) Help stage completed jobs for photography Punchlist & to-do list updates Track hours for billing Job site drop offs as needed Requirements Must have basic background knowledge of design and/or construction Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple deadlines Positive attitude, and good team work Consistently finishes work by deadlines Benefits Paid time off Access to design vendors and discounts
