Target annual earnings of $70,000•100,000+ , based on performance, with first year earnings typically ranging from $50,000•55,000 for associates new to the industry. Weekends are NOT required! Window Treats Inc., a leader in premium window coverings including custom window blinds, shades, shutters and drapery, based in Red Bank, NJ, services residential and commercial clients throughout New Jersey, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. We have an outstanding opportunity for a motivated self-starter to interact with new and existing customers at our Red Bank showroom, conduct in-home consultation appointments and build relationships with contractors, designers, architects and real estate professionals. You will utilize your technical knowledge and sales skills to identify and recommend the best suited product to transform the customer's functional and style ideas into reality.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-home design consultations for residential and commercial customers, describe products, recommend tailored solutions, measure windows, provide quotes and close deals. Generate new business through networking with potential customers including builders, designers, architects, and other professionals who rely on our services. Maintain knowledge of products, industry innovations and design trends Serve as a liaison between vendors, customers, installers and our back-office team to ensure the highest level of customer care throughout the quoting, planning, scheduling and installation processes.
Qualifications:
3+ years' solutions-based, client facing sales experience with proven closing ability Entrepreneurial and self-driven with a passion for delivering well-designed solutions Strong written and communication skills with the ability to educate clients An outgoing and friendly personality with comfortability conducting in-house sales consultations Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms and web-based tools for managing projects Driver's license and a vehicle to travel to customer in-home appointments are a must Experience in interior design, window treatments and in-home sales is a plus Guided by our mission to Make People Happy Where They Live & Work, we do everything we can to ensure your continued success.
