This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Residential Interior Designer who loves the art of space planning, luxury materials, and client relationships—but hates chasing down their own leads, cold calling, or prospecting. Your core focus will be to: Lead homeowners through a seamless, high-touch residential remodeling design process. Create cohesive, stunning interior design concepts for custom kitchens, luxury bathrooms, additions, and whole-home transformations. Guide clients through material selections in the showroom, including premium cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, and finishes. Partner closely with the client's in-house cabinetry specialists and drafting teams to finalize technical plans. Manage a portfolio of approximately 5-7 active design projects simultaneously. Act as a consultative advisor, helping clients confidently navigate budget adjustments and investment decisions (helping maintain the team's incredible ~80% project adoption rate). What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
5+ years of dedicated residential interior design, kitchen & bath design, or residential remodeling experience. Technical Skill:
Full proficiency in industry-standard residential design/drafting software (such as 20/20, ProKitchen, AutoCAD, Chief Architect, or similar). Communication:
An outgoing, personable, and consultative style. You must be comfortable talking openly about project pricing and guiding luxury homeowners through financial investments. Mindset:
Highly organized, collaborative, and adaptable to new design technologies. Nice to Haves:
Deep knowledge of custom kitchen cabinetry space-planning. Background running an independent/freelance residential design business, or working within a high-end retail cabinetry environment (e.g., Wren). Experience with BuilderTrend or CRM platforms (HubSpot). This Role is NOT a Fit For:
Commercial-only interior designers. Pure decorators focused strictly on furniture/soft goods rather than structural remodeling. Individuals who prefer isolated, behind-the-scenes drafting without client interaction. Anyone uncomfortable discussing project budgets or financial commitments with clients. Schedule & Location:
Full-time, Monday-Friday (with occasional client-driven flexibility for evening meetings). 100% Onsite at Clarks Summit, PA. An active, clean driving record and a standard criminal background check are required for this position due to the use of the company vehicle.
