We are hiring a Design Associate who wants a real runway into a professionsal Design career. This is not a generic assistant job. This is a paid, structured development track for someone who wants to learn the business, earn responsibility, and grow into a self-sufficient Valet Designer capable of produccng $1MM+ in annual sales. This role is for the person who wants to become a Designer-not just hold a design-adjacent title. You will be expected to engage in client outreach, develop product knowledge, assist with proposal preparation, visit job sites, strengthen client communication skills, and demonstrate continuous improvement. What you will learn Business development: generate opportunity, build relationships, and create qualified opportunities.

Sales develpment:

learn to guide clients from first impression to signed proposal through discovery, presentation, and relationship-based selling.

Product mastery:

build expertise in residential design, custom cabinetry, and functional space planning.

Pricing and proposal support:

learn to guide clients throught pricing, design decisions, revisions, and follow-up with confidence and professionalism. What success looks like You build the habits of a successful

Designer:

stong communication, disciplined follow-through, product fluency , and client-first problem solving. Your CRM is current, and your handoffs are clear. Your work makes Designers faster without making them responsible for your growth. You can explain Valet products, not just name them. You understand why one accessory, finish, or design decision changes the client experience. Within 24 months, you are ready for Designer responsibilites: leading showroom tours, presenting proposals, and building a $1MM sales cadence. Who we are looking for 1-5yrs experience in design, home improvement, interiors , cabinetry, remodeling, real estate, or another customer facing environment. A serious interest in custom cabinetry, closets, storage, home organization, interior design, or luxury residential service. A strong communicator who is comfortable making calls, asking questions, taking notes, following up, and receiving feedback. Comfort with technology systems. CAD, rendering, CRM, Microsoft Office, design sofware. Estimating experience a plus. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to work in the Campbell Showroom and at Bay Area jobsites. Compensation and details $80,000 guaranteed annual draw/salary structure during the development track, with benefits Full-time role based in Campbell, CA, with in-office /showroom training, field visits, client appointments, and structured weekly scorecard reviews.
