Hybrid | 4 Days in Office, 1 Day Remote Job Summary We are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join a growing corporate and workplace interiors team in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail oriented designer with experience in commercial interiors, workplace planning, furniture specification, and design documentation. You will support design leadership across a variety of corporate and commercial interior projects, contributing from early concept design through construction while working closely with clients, consultants, and project teams. Job Responsibilities Interface directly with clients throughout the design phase Support design leadership in overseeing project teams Develop preliminary programs of requirements Create test fits, schematic design plans, program analysis, and basic code analysis Prepare design scope and budget documentation for budget analysis Coordinate design requirements with clients, consultants, and project teams Organise, prepare, and participate in design presentations Select, present, and specify furniture, finishes, and accessories Prepare furniture bid documents and analyse responses Review furniture dealer specifications Coordinate design development packages for construction documents, including equipment specifications and profile sketches for special construction and millwork details Review engineering documents, shop drawings, and submittals to ensure compliance with design intent Conduct periodic site visits during construction Requirements Minimum of 4 years of continuous design experience in corporate, commercial, or workplace interiors Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite Experience creating photo realistic renderings using Enscape and AI driven visualisation tools Experience specifying systems furniture and ancillary furniture Understanding of schematic design, design development, and contract documents Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced design environment Application Process Please apply with your resume and portfolio showcasing relevant workplace, corporate, or commercial interiors projects.
