Job Description
We are a boutique, high-end interior design firm known for creating sophisticated European interiors with a modern, minimalist aesthetic. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Part-Time Interior Design Assistant to support our studio. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, design-driven environment and has strong technical skills and design knowledge . Responsibilities Assist with the development of interior design projects from concept through installation Prepare and maintain drawings, plans, and design documentation Create 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials Support project management, sourcing, and procurement activities Maintain accurate specifications, schedules, and project records Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients as needed Assist with site visits, installations, and project logistics Qualifications Proficiency in AutoCAD , SketchUp , and Enscape Experience with Studio Designer software preferred Strong understanding of residential interior design and construction documentation Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Professional communication and presentation skills Positive attitude and proactive problem-solving abilities Passion for high-end design, architecture, and craftsmanship Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable personal transportation Ability to travel to project sites and vendor showrooms throughout the Chicago North Shore area Available on a part-time basis as an independent contractor (1099) About Our Studio Our work is rooted in a refined European sensibility, combining modern architecture, minimalist design principles, and carefully curated materials.
