Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Lead Interior Designer to spearhead innovative interior design projects across diverse commercial spaces. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design team, collaborate closely with clients, and oversee all phases of design from concept to execution. Your expertise will shape inspiring environments that blend functionality with aesthetic excellence, ensuring each project exceeds expectations. Duties Lead and manage the entire interior design process, including conceptualization, drafting, presentation, and implementation. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget constraints, translating ideas into compelling design solutions. Utilize digital design tools to create detailed layouts, renderings, and visual presentations. Research and select furniture and finishings in collaboration with clients. Prepare and provide quotations for clients, retail customers, customer support and sales team. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct site visits for renovation or remodeling projects to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design intent, and resolve on-site challenges. Drive business growth by engaging in sales opportunities and presenting innovative solutions that meet client needs. Manage project documentation including drafting contracts, change orders, and budgeting reports to maintain clarity and accountability. Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors along with our sales team and other co-workers to ensure cohesive project execution from concept through completion. Interact with clients through on-site visits, virtual meetings, phone, and email. Incorporate principles of color theory, typography, and layout design to craft compelling visual narratives for interior spaces. Demonstrate furniture products at client's location and in showroom. Order and receive furniture projects. Provide content and ideas for our interiors website. Maintain furniture showroom. Manage furniture inventory. Assist with furniture marketing. Participate in regularly-scheduled sales meetings. Support and follow company priorities and programs. Perform other job-related duties as required or need is observed. Qualifications Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio demonstrating leadership in diverse projects Proficiency in interior design software Solid understanding of drafting techniques, construction processes, renovation practices, and remodeling procedures Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively Strong grasp of color theory and interior design fundamentals to craft harmonious spaces Exceptional communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration Ability to lead a team confidently while fostering a creative and productive work environment Join us as a Lead Interior Designer where your creativity meets strategic execution! $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
