We are looking for a talented and client-focused Interior Designer to join our Design Studio team. In this role, you will guide homebuyers through the selection process for their new home, helping them make design choices that reflect their personal style while staying within budget and construction specifications. You will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the selection process, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from contract to closing. Responsibilities Hours of operation will include some day, evening, and Saturday appointments. Lead design appointments with homebuyers to select interior and exterior finishes, including flooring, cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, hardware, paint colors, and structural options Provide expert guidance on design trends, product knowledge, and how selections work together to create a cohesive look Build strong relationships with buyers to understand their lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and budget Accurately enter and manage all buyer selections in the company's design management system, ensuring timely submission to construction and purchasing teams Collaborate with sales, construction, and purchasing teams to communicate design changes and ensure selections are fulfilled correctly Stay current on product offerings, manufacturer updates, and new design trends relevant to residential construction Maintain an organized, visually appealing Design Studio that reflects the company's brand and current product offerings Assist in the development of model home design packages and spec home selections Handle change orders and selection revisions professionally and efficiently Participate in community events, open houses, and homebuyer workshops as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field preferred 2+ years of experience in residential interior design; new home builder experience strongly preferred Proficiency with design software and selection management tools Strong knowledge of residential construction processes and product categories Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple buyers and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or ERP systems a plus Additional Information If interested, please send an email to with
