Interior Designer & Design Center Manager Woodinville, WA Base Pay + Commission About Us We are creating a new residential remodeling design center in Woodinville focused on helping homeowners navigate home repair, remodeling, renovation, and design projects. Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where homeowners can receive design guidance, connect with trusted contractors, and successfully complete projects ranging from simple repairs to major renovations. We are seeking an Interior Designer who wants to do far more than select finishes and furnishings. This position combines interior design, client consultation, project coordination, showroom management, marketing, and customer experience. You will become the face of our design center and serve as the primary point of contact for our clients from their first phone call through project completion. Position Summary This position is ideal for an ambitious designer who wants to build a personal brand, influence larger remodeling projects, and work directly alongside architects, engineers, contractors, and homeowners. You will help clients understand their goals, develop design solutions, coordinate project teams, and guide projects from concept through completion. Your first project will be designing and helping build your own office and showroom environment. Responsibilities Client Consultation & Design Meet with homeowners to understand their needs, goals, budgets, and lifestyles. Develop space planning concepts and design solutions. Assist clients with finish selections, colors, materials, fixtures, and furnishings. Help envision larger remodeling opportunities involving walls, structural changes, additions, and reconfigured living spaces. Present design concepts and guide clients through design decisions. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors. Customer Experience Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and conduct consultations. Track project responsibilities and client expectations. Maintain regular communication throughout projects. Ensure an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through final payment. Design Center & Showroom Management Design and maintain our new office and showroom environment. Create a warm, inviting, and hospitable experience for clients and trade partners. Host meetings with contractors, vendors, and clients. Coordinate product displays, material samples, and showroom organization. Represent the services of our contractor network. Marketing & Branding Help lead company branding and messaging. Manage social media and online presence. Assist with marketing campaigns and community outreach. Develop relationships with local homeowners and industry professionals. Promote both your own design services and our remodeling services. Project Coordination Work directly with architects, engineers, and trade professionals. Assist with budgeting and scope development. Coordinate project timelines and selections. Help facilitate communication between clients and construction teams. Monitor project progress and client satisfaction. Qualifications Interior design, kitchen and bath design, architecture, remodeling, or related experience. Strong understanding of residential remodeling and construction. Ability to communicate design ideas clearly to homeowners and contractors. Excellent organizational and customer service skills. Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities. Experience with residential renovations and space planning preferred.
