As a Pawn Translator, you will facilitate conversations, assist with product explanations, and support sales activities by translating effectively. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for all clients, while also contributing to the overall success of our retail operation. Duties Translate customer inquiries, product descriptions, and sales pitches accurately from one language to another. Assist customers in understanding pawn procedures, policies, and appraisals through clear communication. Support staff during product demos and merchandising efforts by providing real-time translation assistance. Handle customer interactions professionally via phone, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and service. Participate in upselling opportunities by conveying product benefits compellingly in both languages. Aid in stock management tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to enhance visual appeal. Contribute to maintaining a positive shopping environment through excellent customer service and effective communication. Requirements Bilingual proficiency in English and at least one other language; strong communication skills are essential. Prior supervising or leadership experience in retail or related environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems, cashiering, and retail math for transaction processing. Experience with product demos, merchandising, stocking, and grocery store operations is a plus. Strong phone etiquette skills combined with the ability to upsell products confidently. Knowledge of basic math skills necessary for cash handling and retail transactions. Excellent customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging clients.
